Painting and Cacao: A Journey of Creativity & Connection ✽ London, UK
Join Caro on an evening of creativity and mindfulness as we gather to drink a cup of ceremonial cacao followed by a relaxing painting session where we will be making a meditative mandala with ink and watercolors.
When: Friday, September 22 · 7:00 - 9:30pm BST
Where: Queen's Park Area in London (address sent upon signing up)
❋Event Highlights:
We’ll begin the evening sharing a cup of ceremonial grade cacao. Cacao is a sacred plant which has been revered for millennia as a heartwarming ally. We'll gather in circle and share a cup of rich, ceremonial-grade cacao, setting our intentions for the evening ahead.
Guided by the serene and heart opening energy of cacao, we'll transition into the world of art and self-expression. The art of mandala making has been practiced for centuries across various cultures as a means to channel inner thoughts, intentions and meditations. Under Caro’s guidance, you'll explore the meditative process of painting your own intentional mandala using watercolors. No prior art experience is necessary—just an open heart and a willingness to let your creativity flow.
Throughout the evening, we'll take moments to reflect on our intentions, fostering a sense of inner harmony and connection with the art we're creating.
We will end the evening by reflecting and sharing the insights that surfaced during the ceremony and the art-making process.

About Caro:
Caro is a Peruvian visual artist based in Woodstock, NY. Her artwork explores the plant and fungi kingdoms as seen with our naked eyes and through the microscopes; the taxonomy and physicality of living beings as well as the invisible yet powerful spirit and consciousness each of them carries. From her Amazonian heritage, Caro embraces the importance of rituals and ancestral wisdom, of embracing our unity with nature in our daily lives. Through her paintings and videos, Caro invites us to focus on our daily routines, the importance of rest, to take care of ourselves and our planet in order to stay creative, curious, and aligned with our purpose in the world.
